Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Review

Xiaomi as a company is exactly what we need with the loss of Huawei to the US ban, so pushing the boundaries and making sure that companies such as Samsung stay on their A-game is important.

And with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, they are doing just that 👌🏾 Not only have they taken everything that was good about the Samsung S21 Ultra and made it better. starting off a new trend with their smartphones, by taking over where Huawei left off.

Display

The Mi 11 Ultra has a 6.8 inch AMOLED Quad HD+ display which boast a 120Hz refresh rate, an adaptive panel which is covered in Gorila Glass Victus, and a max brightness of 1700 Nits making it the brightest smartphone ever.

It also has a 480Hz touch sample rate that can display 10-bit colors. which also looks fantastic on its quad curved display.

Not to mention the rear AMOLED display, which has some very cool 😎 and unique features, It displays the time, shows notifications and you can also customise it to display something of your own choice, such as a picture or a inspirational quote.

Cameras

The Mi 11 Ultra has 3 cameras, the main sensor is one of the biggest you will find on any smartphone to date almost matching the legendary Sony RX100, 1inch sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, giving you a great Boca with fantastic image separation, also letting in more light which means better images in darker environments 🌙

Mi 11 Ultra has great slow-motion which is tag sharp, a very wide ultra lens, you can truly enjoy the sheer versatility you have with this camera system.

Video

Mi 11 Ultra shoots in 8K 24fps, 4k 60fps which delivers great cinematic video. Overall the camera system scored 143 in the DXO mark, making it currently the best camera on the market.

It's not all roses with the camera, sometimes it can really over sharpen images and crush the darker areas, but this is the kind of competition we need between the smartphone companies, which will always lead to us as the consumer receiving great enervations.

Battery

The Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 5000Mh battery and a 67-watt fast charger which will get this device from 0 to 100% in just 35 mins, it will also wireless charge at more or less the same speed.

Never the less giving you an all-day battery with moderate use, I was getting constantly 5 to 6 hours of screen on time, but it really doesn't matter because of the charging speeds.

Storage & Gaming

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes with either 128GB-256GB-512GB of internal storage and 12GB-16GB of ram and fast UFs 3.1

Gaming is a breeze on this device, and will play all of your favourite games effortlessly. 🤗
